The "EYE Compact EB" is a product developed to make electron beam irradiation more accessible and convenient to use. Electron beam irradiation is used in research and development in various fields, including surface modification of materials, sterilization, curing of inks and coatings, graft polymerization, and crosslinking.
Conventional large-scale electron beam irradiation systems require a lot of space, making installation time-consuming and costly. The "EYE Compact EB" achieves short delivery times and low prices by packaging all the necessary functions for research and experimentation.
In recent years, the world has been striving for a decarbonized society (carbon neutrality). Electron beam irradiation is attracting attention as a new tool that can significantly reduce CO₂ emissions compared to thermal drying.
