Solar Simulation Equipment

EYE / Iwasaki solar radiation systems use our proprietary metal halide lamps that provide adjustable power output levels to allow more precise test control

• Our new 400W metal halide lamp meets American Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards and provides the most efficient, high output power at an affordable initial cost.
• Solar radiation intensity is adjustable by the control unit. Lamp power can be regulated from 80% to 100%.
• The power controller precisely regulates the lamp power eliminating the need to raise and lower the lighting bank.
• The lighting is powered by an electronic inverter system that allows smooth lamp power adjustment while providing a compact, light weight system.

Spectral Distribution

EYE / Iwasaki Solar Simulation systems deliver unparalleled spectral distribution for thermal simulation most similar to natural daylight. Lighting environment planning can be done in confidence.

• High output, adjustable, solar radiation intensity
  400W/m2 to 1150W/m2; EPA standard level equivalent 850+/- 15%.

• Broad Control Capability
  Solar radiation intensity is controllable by lamp power output and pattern adjustment for accurate and repeatable testing.

  Our proprietary lamp and ballast systems enable stable solar radiation power to be maintained over an extended period.
