Operating numerous general sports clubs centered on the Kanto Region, Dunlop Sports Wellness Co., Ltd. made its first foray into the Kansai Region in September 2022 with the opening of Dunlop Sports Club Esaka, in Suita City, Osaka.

Spread across 3 levels (one subterranean, two above ground), the large-scale general sports and fitness club boasts a comprehensive array of facilities including but not limited to a swimming pool, spa facilities, fully equipped gym, large studio space, a golf range, and tennis courts, where a golf school and a tennis school are hosted respectively. With three doubles courts and one singles court, the spacious and fully air conditioned artificial grass indoor tennis courts offer a comfortable environment in which players can enjoy playing tennis through all seasons.

Factoring in the domed shape of the ceiling on which the lights were to be mounted, as well as the importance of minimizing glare, LEDioc HIGH-BAY θ luminaires in frosted glass type were selected to provide the illumination for the courts. Maintaining an average illuminance of 700ℓx with high levels of uniformity to provide a high-quality lighting environment, the whole space has been made a bright and pleasant one to be in.
