Morinomiya tennis courts at the Morinomiya Sports Facilities in Shingu Town feature four artificial turf outdoor courts, adjacent to a multipurpose field that can be used for baseball and soccer amongst other activities.

Seeking to enrich the sporting environment on offer to its residents, the local authorities carried out works in March 2023 to update the lighting of the tennis courts to LED with the aid of a grant from the sports promotion lottery toto, The LEDioc TENNISTER floodlights installed to replace the existing lighting scheme are designed primarily for use on outdoor tennis courts; offering light distribution able to maintain brightness levels within the area of play whilst also restricting light spillage beyond the playing area and minimizing glare which can be detrimental to play, they have delivered a highly uniform and pleasant lighting environment. With the luminaires featuring integrated wireless adapters and being linked to the Wi-CONNECTY wireless controls system, the renovation works have also provided lighting controls functionality with no need for physical connection cables. Producing light distribution levels compliant with JIS lighting standards, LEDioc TENNISTER floodlights can also be set to JIS Class II and Class III illuminance levels through lighting controls, making it possible to offer a choice of illuminance arrangements to suit the requirements of its users.

With a heightened degree of convenience, a high quality lit environment has been created to allow for play to also be enjoyed at night.
