A total of 48 units of LEDioc TENNISTER class 400 floodlights have been installed across eight courts, providing average illuminance levels of 480ℓx.

Set within verdant grounds, Karuizawa Kazakoshi Park is a multipurpose facility much appreciated by the public as a hub of leisure and recreational activities to be enjoyed across all seasons. Equipped with an extensive array of facilities, including a multipurpose sports hall, ice rink, indoor curling courts, an indoor pool, outdoor skating rink, outdoor tennis courts a futsal court and a sports field, it is widely used to host training camps, in addition to regional and international competitions across a variety sports.
The outdoor tennis area incorporates 14 artificial turf courts suited to both regular and soft tennis, of which 8 courts are equipped with lighting for nighttime play. With a view to reducing its energy consumption, the town of Karuizawa carried out lighting upgrade works to replace the existing HID floodlighting with LED.
The existing lighting columns were retained and reused with only the luminaires themselves being replaced by the specialist tennis court LED luminaire LEDioc TENNISTER, which offers major energy savings whilst also maintaining the existing illuminance levels and creating a pleasant environment in which tennis can continue to be enjoyed into the hours of nighttime.
