The spacious indoor courts with 4.5 carpeted courts which are easier on legs and joints, are illuminated with the specialist tennis court luminaires LEDioc THREE STAR, providing a brightness across the whole space.

Installed to the side of each court on the ceiling measuring over 10m in height, the LEDioc THREE STAR provides a pleasant, brighter playing environment, whilst suppressing glare.

Featuring 4.5 fully climate-controlled tennis courts, Nikke Tennis Dome Nagoya is a highly well-equipped indoor tennis school which also boasts a spacious lobby area, locker rooms, shower rooms, a shop, and a 70 capacity car park amongst its facilities.
21 years since its opening, August 2021 saw the implementation of a lighting upgrade program at Nikke Tennis Dome Nagoya, with 45 units of the specialist tennis court LED luminaires LEDioc THREE STAR replacing the existing 1000W HID lamps. The upgrade to LED lighting has seen the space as a whole becoming brighter, resulting in a yet more pleasant playing environment that feels as though playing outdoors. Positively received by members and visitors alike, feedback on the new scheme has seen comments on how the improved visibility of the ball and the courts allows for players to better concentrate on their game thanks to the high levels of uniformity.
It is anticipated that the lighting improvement works can lead to a reduction in monthly costs, thanks to the capacity to reduce energy consumption by around 70% and the ability to reduce demand value (maximum power level). The peace of mind offered by the three heads to each LEDioc THREE STAR unit in the unlikely event of one failing to light up, and the capacity for instant switch on and switch off afforded by LED lighting have been greatly appreciated, and by brightly illuminating the ceiling surface to provide ample light for the space whilst suppressing glare, the result is a pleasing lit environment which also provides energy savings.
