Located in the Asaminami Ward of Hiroshima City, Koryo High School is a co-educational private high school which strives towards excellence both in academia and athletic endeavors as it abides by a school motto of "Fortitude and Vigor". The school is home to a number of sports clubs boasting top-class achievements at national level, including its renowned baseball team. With a rich history spanning 110 years, the team enjoys a reputation as one of the powerhouses of the annual National High School Baseball Championships, and has produced a number of players who have gone on to enjoy careers in the professional game.

Building upon this experience and know-how, the girls' baseball club was founded in April 2022. The grounds newly constructed especially for the establishment of the girls' baseball club have been equipped with high-efficiency LEDioc FLOOD AVANT floodlights to provide a comfortable lighting environment which enables evening practice to take place, even during times of the year when there are less daylight hours. The scheme ensures the field receives ample light levels whilst also giving due consideration to avoid light spillage into the surrounding areas.

Participating in the Ruby League which was newly established in April 2022 for girls' baseball teams across the Chugoku-Shikoku Region, the team continues its endeavors in training as it works towards qualification for national competitions.
