Founded in 1978 and originating in Aichi Prefecture, Steakhouse BRONCO BILLY is a restaurant chain specializing in steaks and hamburger steaks. Centered on the Tokai Region, the company has continued to expand vigorously into other regions such as the Kansai area, and November 2022 saw the opening of another new restaurant, this time in Higashi-Kurume City. Featuring steaks and burgers grilled over the finest coals, alongside a fresh and varied buffet salad bar as well as premium quality rice cooked over a traditional stove, BRONCO BILLY seeks to provide a "special treat" dining experience of a kind that cannot quite be achieved at home.
With an emphasis on ensuring the graphics are displayed at their best, LEDioc CUTLASS type-L signboard luminaires from Iwasaki Electric were selected to illuminate the store facade and wall mounted signage. Whilst compact LEDioc MULTILINE, Bracket type signage luminaires had been utilized for an installation at another branch three years earlier, the larger signage and necessity for high levels of both illuminance and uniformity across it saw the selection of LEDioc CUTLASS type-L luminaires on this occasion.
After on-site testing to ascertain their visual effect in situ, various efforts such as careful adjustments to the angles of the moldings, went into ensuring the scheme fully optimized the features of the luminaires in order to deliver a high quality lit environment.
