The signboards and large storefront electric display highlight the bustle of the night-time scenery of the lively Ikebukuro West Exit area.

The LEDioc FLOOD URBANVIEW Vivid lights are equipped with LEDs that feature high color rendering and high color saturation. They evenly and brilliantly light the signboards.

The LEDioc FLOOD URBANVIEW Ⅱ LED floodlights have been installed to meet design conditions that stipulate protrusion of 1000mm.
TAITO STATION Ikebukuro West Exit opened in September of 2016. It is a new TAITO STATION, and one of the many amusement facilities established by Taito Corporation across Japan. It has an ideal location right in front of Ikebukuro Station's west exit, and spans 6 stories (1 underground), boasting a floor space of roughly 1155 square meters. Due to design conditions for external sign lighting restricting protrusion to 1000mm, compact and lightweight LEDioc FLOOD URBANVIEW II LED floodlights were used, with the design making use of horizontal light distribution for a design that suppresses both periphery brightness and differences in brightness. Furthermore, LED floodlights have a greater general color rendering index compared to general lights, and the Vivid series, which reproduces color faithfully, was selected to light the signboard surfaces with a more brilliant red. The signboards stand out together with the large storefront electric display, highlighting the bustle of the commercial facility, and contributing to the creation of a bright and lively atmosphere in the Ikebukuro West Exit area, where the ward and private enterprise have joined forces to advance attractive urban development.
