Light effects provide magical illumination of the popular castle-town symbol of Shiroishi Castle and cherry blossoms in full bloom
Add to My ListShiroishi Castle is a flatland-mountain castle on a small hill in roughly the center of Shiroishi City that was governed by the Katakura Clan, who were retainers of the Date Clan. It was dismantled in 1874, but restored in 1995. The wooden restoration was one of a few nationwide based on ancient Japanese building styles able to last for hundreds of years, and was also held in high estimation by the scientific community. The illumination plays a PR role for Shiroishi City, and in order to have lighting able to be enjoyed for each event, LEDioc FLOOD FULL-COLOR full-color LED floodlights were installed to allow guests to enjoy Shiroishi Castle resplendent in light of seven colors. Masuoka Park, which is where Shiroishi Castle is located, has around 230 cherry trees, including Somei Yoshino, Double-Cherry, and Weeping-Cherry varieties that enter into full bloom, and is a famous spot visited by many each year to view the beautiful blossoms. For the duration of the Cherry Blossom Festival, LEDioc FLOOD NEO Vivid LED floodlights are used to bring out the cherry blossoms more vividly and impressively and create nighttime scenery enabling the enjoyment of tasteful nighttime viewing of cherry blossoms.
