March, 2013

Iiyama City is located in the northernmost section of Nagano Prefecture, and is a place blessed with abundant nature where untouched Japanese scenery still remains to this day. In March of 2015, coinciding with the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen, the existing Iiyama Station was relocated to create the new Iiyama Station. Iiyama Station is the sightseeing gateway for a vast tract of land including the Joshinetsukogen National Park. With a focus on the Hokuriku Shinkansen Iiyama Station, Iiyama City has been readjusting the land around the station with the objective of creating a new town area, and as part of that work created new roads and also installed lighting equipment. Both individual lighting units and those for combined use with traffic lights share the same design and use PAZU roadlights and CROSS PAZU crossroad lighting fixtures to safely light the new townscape at night with long-life and high-color-rendering FEC CERA ARC ACE EX light.
