Part of Seven & i Holdings retail group, York. Co., Ltd. is a retailer whose supermarket businesses is centered around the capital area.

Seeking to ensure the safety and security of its workforce who have continued to working throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, York. Co., Ltd. has been working proactively to implement its infectious disease prevention measures. As one part of these measures, the suitability of introducing air purification systems was assessed for spaces such as staff rest areas where the removal of masks is anticipated, and also in office areas where a greater amount of conversation takes place; subsequently the AIRLIA COMPACT airflow UV purification system was chosen for the task. Thanks to its unobtrusive size, performance levels, and ease of maintenance all being rated highly, 214 units have been placed in staff rest areas and office areas across all stores to date. With some stores being smaller than others, its noticeable yet unobtrusive form, and design which removes the need for regular cleaning of filters, has seen AIRLIA COMPACT being very positively received on the ground.

The product has also been introduced into the reception area at head office, with clients and partners alike all commenting positively on it, and it is planned for the product to also be installed in any new stores opened in future.
