In April 2020, TOBU PARK Umesato Station West Exit #2 Bicycle Parking Lot opened in Noda City, Chiba Prefecture, next to the west exit of Umesato Station on the Tobu Railway Noda Line. The bicycle parking lot has space for 1030 bicycles and light scooters, charges by the hour or for fixed-terms, and is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Tobu Real Estate Co., Ltd., which built and operates the facility, operates and manages vehicle and bicycle parking lots mainly at stations along the Tobu Line, as well as in surrounding areas and in metropolitan areas, and is developing its business to meet the needs of users.

The Umesato Station West Exit #2 Bicycle Parking Lot was a project based on publicly open proposals solicited by Noda City, and we were selected after making a detailed proposal in line with what the city was seeking, taking as our operating policy the creation of a bicycle parking lot able to be used safely by citizens, a reliable maintenance and management system, and the provision of comfortable user services. The bicycle parking lot has an area of 1465m², and we installed 26 LEDioc STREET 20VA LED security lights as lighting to illuminate it brightly and safely even at night. They work to maintain the site's safety and provide an enhanced crime-prevention effect while also taking power savings into consideration. The lot also includes measures for a response in times of a disaster or power outage, including the ability to pay with public-transportation IC cards (cashless), disaster-response vending machines, bicycle parking racks set to enable bicycle-removal in the event of a power outage, and the installation in the central area of a LEDioc AREA D type LED solar light able to be used as an emergency power source (AC 100V) when the power supply is interrupted, even while maintaining its illumination as lighting.

In addition to security cameras, the LED lighting illuminating the venue also serves as security lights for the surrounding area, and we believe we have been able to create a good lighting environment that takes the surrounding environment into account.
