Becoming the third "LaLaport" facility in Aichi Prefecture upon its opening in April 2025, Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Anjo is a large shopping center equipped with numerous facilities including a supermarket, one of the largest dining zones in the area, a wide variety of shops and a movie theater. Home also to an indoor stadium-style courtyard and an all-weather rooftop park furnished with more pieces of playground equipment than any other commercial rooftop plaza in Japan, the venue offers facilities and an environment well-suited to a wide and varied range of purposes, and has been bustling with customers of all ages since its opening. The venue also offers ease of access both for private and public transport, thanks to its highly convenient location within walking distance of Anjo Station on the JR Tokaido Main Line and Kita-Anjo Station on the Meitetsu Nishio Line, in addition to offering parking facilities with a capacity of around 3500 vehicles.

In designing the exterior lighting scheme, the aim was to create a lighting environment geared towards the comfort and security of visitors to the facility. This has seen the installation of understated and compact LEDioc FLOOD NEO class 60 super-wide beam angle type floodlights in the vehicle and bicycle parking areas, minimizing unevenness in illuminance to deliver a highly uniform lighting environment. The roads within the site are illuminated by LEDioc AREA RAMUS LED pole luminaires which feature a clean and simple design that harmonizes smoothly with the surrounding landscape, and the exterior space as a whole benefit from a smart and unified aesthetic thanks to all of the fixtures being mounted on straight poles. All of the luminaires selected for the scheme are incandescent color temperature models, combining to provide an ambiance of warmth throughout the site, and creating a calming nighttime landscape that blends harmoniously with its surrounding environment.

Furthermore the LED lighting fixtures have been designated so as to be appropriate to their respective locations and purposes - such as the LEDioc FLOOD LUNT floodlights used to illuminate signage, and the LEDioc CEILING II eaves lighting fixtures that illuminate the pedestrian walkways - resulting in a comfortable, secure, and aesthetically pleasing lighting environment throughout.
