Using power-saving LED light to comfortably light the outdoor area of a medical center opened as a core regional hospital

Location

Chikusei City and Sakuragawa City in Ibaraki Prefecture have, based on the Regional Medical Rehabilitation Plan drawn up by the prefecture, reorganized their three hospitals (two public and one private) and built the Ibaraki Western Medical Center in Chikusei City, and the Sakuragawa Regional Medical Center in Sakuragawa City both of which were opened in October 2018.The Ibaraki Western Medical Center established by Chikusei City is a core regional hospital born of the integration of the two public hospitals in the cities of Chikusei and Sakuragawa, and with nine departments and 250 beds, and a focus on secondary emergency medical care and inpatient treatment, it has the role of completing secondary emergency medicine in the region, as well of that of a disaster-base hospital. Together with the Sakuragawa Regional Medical Center, which was established at the same time, it aims to further enhance regional medical care by promoting the specialization of medical-care functions in cooperation with local medical institutions.

LEDioc AREA ALIVIO LED pole lights have been installed as lighting to illuminate the parking lot at the hospital, and the parking area is brightly and safely lit at night using light that contributes to power saving, improving safety at night. In addition, incandescent LEDioc AREA BRICIA LED pole lights have been arranged in the open space known as "Health Plaza" to gently illuminate the surrounds in warm light.
