Tokyo Rasen Industrial Co., Ltd. is a bolt manufacturer headquartered in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture. Since its founding in 1962, it has continued to grow on the strength of its small lots of many varieties and without being constrained by header (cold forging) manufacturer norms. The company's bolts contribute to industries in various fields, such as electric power and automobiles.

In March of 2019 the company carried out construction work to convert the lighting in its factory and warehouse to LED. Before the lighting upgrade, the factory was dark, and especially hot in the summer due to direct sunlight entering through skylights. Taking this into consideration, 210W LEDioc HIGH-BAY Γ (gamma) and 125W LEDioc HIGH-BAY Γ Simple Model LED high ceiling lighting fixtures were installed, using the same numbers of lights and their positions, to replace the existing 400W metal halide lamps and achieve power savings and increased brightness. Brightness has increased significantly since the upgrade to LED lighting, with the established average brightness for the factory section changing from 80ℓx to 300ℓx, and that for the warehouse section changing from 100ℓx to 150ℓx, with this being well received by employees, who comment on how brighter it has become.

The expectation is that this change to LED will contribute to the improvement of the working environment and lead to relief from temperatures rising in the factory. The lights are easy to use because they can be turned on or off instantaneously, and the consensus is that a safe and comfortable lighting environment was able to be created using LED light that contributes to reduced power consumption and maintenance costs.
