Helping towards infection prevention measures, 2 units of AIRLIA PLUS are placed in the roomy sales area where there is a high volume of visitors. Mounted on casters, they can also be moved easily as and when required.

Placed in the sales area, AIRLIA PLUS is a high-capacity model able to process the air within an area of approx. 180m² per hour, helping to create a clean environment by removing bacteria and viruses.

The air of the back-office polling area is disinfected in a safe and reassuring way through the power of light, with AIRLIA COMPACT.

With an average rated life of 8000hours, the UV lamps can accommodate continuous use through a year with no need for replacement. Placed in the back-room area, the low maintenance AIRLIA COMPACT is in operation 24 hours a day.

Located in the Naka Ward of Yokohama City, Boatpier Yokohama is the one and only off-site sales point of tickets for boat race betting in Kanagawa prefecture. Spanning 5 levels, from entrance lobby on the ground floor, through sales counters and regular seats on the second and third floors, paid seats on the fourth floor, and the fifth floor designated as the VIP floor, the site is open 360 days a year, taking bets on up to 8 races per day.
Faced with the spread of Coronavirus, Boatpier Yokohama has implemented a comprehensive range of infection prevention measures since its reopening in June 2020, which include limiting visitor numbers, installation of clear boards, spraying of disinfectant treatments, sterilization with alcohol-based disinfectants, and the installation of high-performance air purifiers. The deployment of AIRLIA airflow UV purification systems plays an important part in these infection prevention measures, with the increased capacity AIRLIA PLUS placed in areas around ticket counters with especially high volumes of customer traffic, and AIRLIA COMPACT units placed in the back-room areas where staff carry out administrative and financial tasks,. Using its integrated fan to draw in the air surrounding it, and then processing the air using UV rays to remove viruses and bacteria and subsequently releasing as processed clean air; AIRLIA is valued for its highly effective air purifying properties; and also its design and construction which ensures no UV rays escape the fixture, meaning the fixture does not pose any risk of harm or ill effects to humans.
