Located in a verdant hilltop setting surrounded by lush greenery, the Saiki Multi-Sport Park is furnished with a full range of sporting facilities, including a baseball field, gymnasium, athletics track, and tennis courts. A cherished venue locally, the park also features highly popular large-scale children's playground equipment in its plaza, as well as walking and jogging courses throughout.

Seeking to create a venue accessible to all - from professional baseball and women's baseball, to high school baseball - the city of Hatsukaichi carried out a program of major renovations on its baseball field, reopening in October 2024 after completion of the works. The renovation works on the field which spans 120m along the center field and 92m along the flanks, included the construction of new locker rooms and a new electronic scoreboard, expansion of the dugouts and the addition of more spectator seating, and an update of the lighting installations to LED. Retaining and reusing the six existing lighting columns, the scheme features a total of 70 highly efficient LEDioc FLOOD AVANT floodlights in a combination of medium-narrow, medium, and wide beam distribution types to deliver illuminance levels matching and surpassing those of its predecessor, in tandem with energy savings and ample illuminance of the grounds. The lighting controls scheme features the barcode-operated BOIQS control panel which allows users to turn the lights on and off by simply scanning a 2D code over it, subsequently allowing for efficiencies in operations and management workload.

Renovation works to convert the lighting of the tennis courts to LED were carried out with the aid of a grant from the Japan Sports Council run sports promotion lottery toto, seeing two of the four artificial turf courts (hard and soft tennis) furnished with LEDioc TENNISTER luminaires which have been designed for use on outdoor tennis courts. Featuring a controlled light distribution specifically designed for use on tennis courts, the fixtures ensure ample illuminance levels whilst restricting light spillage beyond the court, creating an optimal lit environment where play can continue to be enjoyed in comfort beyond daylight hours. With plans already in place for the athletics stadium situated within the park to be upgraded into a multi-purpose field with artificial turf, major developments are progressing with the aim of enhancing the role of the park as a sporting hub for the city.
