Headquartered in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, TAIHO CHEMICAL INDUSTRY CO., LTD. is one of the Kanto area's top industrial paint manufacturers engaged in the development and sale of various paints, including metal paints, woodworking paints, building paints, and functional paints.

In September 2018, TAIHO CHEMICAL INDUSTRY CO., LTD. carried out work to change its factory lighting to LED. In order to ensure illumination in the high-ceiling atrium area, LEDioc blast-proof LED high ceiling lighting fixtures, which are equivalent to 360W ceramic metal halide lamps but have a power-consumption of 106.6W, were used, with the clear-glass type being selected to provide sufficient illumination on the floor. For the area around the stage above the mezzanine level, in order to both ensure brightness but reduce glare for workers, frosted-glass versions of the same lighting fixtures were used where the installation positions were high, while globe-type, blast-proof LED lighting fixtures equivalent to 100W mercury lamps were used in lower installation positions. The same fixtures were also installed below the mezzanine level to reduce glare and ensure the spread of light in the lateral directions.

With the change to LED blast-proof lighting in this lighting renovation upgrade, significant power savings and maintenance savings have been realized while creating a bright, safe and comfortable lighting environment, which in turn has contributed to an improved work environment.
