Nerima Municipal Miharadai Heated PoolNerima Ward, Tokyo
Offering enhanced anti-corrosion properties, LEDioc μs floodlights provide a safe and pleasant lit environment at this municipal indoor pool
Add to My ListEstablished in 1978, and linked to the Miharadai Children's Center and Miharadai Senior-Citizen Center, the municipal Miharadai Heated Pool is a facility widely appreciated and enjoyed by the people of the region over the years. Featuring a 25m x 13m heated indoor pool with 6 lanes, the facility allows visitors to enjoy swimming throughout the year unaffected by the seasons and weather outside, and through the summer months the outdoor children's pool is opened and enjoyed as a place for children's water activities.
In 2021 the municipality updated the pool lighting to LED as part of a program of electrical refurbishment works undertaken on the ceiling, with the existing metal halide floodlights replaced by LEDioc μs floodlights which are designed for use in indoor pools.
In addition to maintaining the existing illuminance levels, the scheme also incorporates a dimmable power supply to accommodate dimming controls; featuring advanced anti-corrosion properties as well as a glare-limiting light emitting surface, the LEDioc μs floodlights used in the scheme provide a safe, bright and comfortable lighting environment which also contributes towards energy savings and reduced maintenance.
