Gakushuin Junior and Senior High School is a private boys' junior and senior high school in an educational environment blessed with lushly verdant nature despite being in the city center only a 5-minute walk from Mejiro Station on the JR Yamanote Line. Its vast campus surrounded by many trees has a variety of educational facilities and other facilities shared with universities, and on the first floor of the Junior and Senior High School's No. 2 Gymnasium is a 25m × 6-lane indoor heated pool.

Gakushuin Junior and Senior High School carried out lighting improvement work for the indoor pool in June 2019, refitting it with LED lighting fixtures. 20 LEDioc CEILING HB LED lighting fixtures for indoor pool use were installed in place of the existing 33 mercury lamps, reducing the total number of lights while maintaining at least the same level of brightness as before, and realizing significant power savings and reductions in power consumption. After giving sufficient consideration to suppressing glare and providing uniform brightness for the space when installing the lights, narrow-angle and medium-angle lights were arranged in combinations of both light distributions. In addition, since a feature of LED lighting is its ability be turned on and off instantaneously, it can be turned on and off as needed instead of being kept on like it was before, and we believe that this ease of use will lead to further energy savings.

The newly installed LEDioc CEILING HB lights were also used for the lighting for the indoor pool at the newly completed women's junior and senior high school on the Toyama campus in Shinjuku Ward, and for the lighting for the indoor pool on the first floor of the gymnasium on the Yotsuya campus, where the primary school is located, and in addition to the safety unique to LED lighting equipment for indoor pool use, they are also highly rated for their excellent color-rendering that illuminates pools brightly and shows their blue color beautifully.
