The main ground of the hockey field is lit with highly efficient 830W LEDioc FLOOD DUELL LED floodlights, ensuring a set brightness of 360ℓx and creating a pleasant and highly uniform lighting environment.

The main ground of the hockey field features an artificial-turf pitch. It is freshly illuminated with 830W LEDioc FLOOD DUELL lights, which have a brightness equivalent to 1500W metal halide lamps, realizing large-scale power savings while creating night-game lighting that enables comfortable practice at night.

The existing fittings were used but upgraded to LEDioc LED Light Bulb F LED lamps to light the secondary ground in power-saving light.

Since its creation as Japan's first hockey club in 1906, Keio University Athletic Association Hockey Club has been a hockey club with a proud tradition and splendid track record of numerous victories at the National Hockey Championships and the place of origin for many Olympic athletes. The club's home ground is located in the Shimoda district of the Hiyoshi Campus, which has a full range of sports-meet facilities, and saw a new installation of night-game lighting equipment in January 2018. Highly efficient 830W LEDioc FLOOD DUELL LED floodlights were installed in wide and ultrawide-angle combinations to light the main ground, ensuring that light reaches the center of the pitch and guaranteeing sufficient brightness for the space to create a bright, pleasant, and highly uniform lighting environment. During installation of the LED floodlights, proper consideration was given to controlling glare and light-bleed into the adjacent residential areas, with careful attention being paid to how they were aimed. Furthermore, there were four floodlights using mercury lamps installed for the secondary ground, and these existing fittings were kept in place and changed over to LED with the installation of LEDioc LED Light Bulb F lamps, realizing a combination of power savings and increased brightness. In addition to the roughly 70 members (male and female) of the university's hockey club, the hockey field is also used by roughly 100 people who are members of senior high school clubs or OB teams, and with the installation of the night-game lighting equipment complete and ensuring evening practice times in a safe and comfortable lighting environment, the response from students and OB members alike has been positive.
