Lighting Keio Corporation's largest railyard with LED light to contribute to large-scale power savings
Add to My ListLocated in Tokyo's Inagi City, the Keio Corporation Wakabadai Inspection Depot is the Keio Corporation's largest railyard, and also a combined facility with the Wakabadai Workshop. Since opening adjacent to the Wakabadai Station on the Keio Sagamihara Line, the facility, which carries out railcar maintenance for the Keio Line, has been equipped with storage tracks, workshop tracks, an inspection depot, and a railcar-washing area. The Keio Corporation changed the lighting for the Wakabadai Inspection Depot to LED lighting, upgrading the existing lighting (400W mercury lamps with shade fittings) to 170W LEDioc CEILING HB floodlights. The LED lighting fixtures have louvers attached, and their selection has ensured brightness equivalent to or greater than that provided by the previous lighting while also taking glareinto account. In addition, they also achieve maintenance savings and largescale reductions in power consumption.
