  • 116W LEDioc LED EYE LAMP SP lights have been installed in place of the previous 400W Mercury lamps under the large roof of the produce market, achieving increased brightness and large-scale power savings.

  • LEDioc ROAD J and LEDioc FLOOD SPOLART lights have been installed in the area around the entrance to the produce market on the security-office-side, increasing safety at night.

It was established as a regional wholesale market establishment company and produce wholesale company by Omiya General Foodstuff Regional Wholesale Market, located in Saitama City. Omiya General Foodstuff Regional Wholesale Market has a variety of related stores that handle all kinds of foodstuffs. In August of last year, Omiya Central Produce Market carried out lighting installation and improvement work on its facilities, including the produce wholesale market's auction area and delivery distribution area/parking area. LED lighting was employed in place of the previous Mercury lamps, achieving increased brightness, along with large-scale power savings through a drop in power consumption and decreased CO2 emissions. After the LED improvements to the lighting, every nook and cranny is comparatively brighter, and it is believed that this will contribute to power savings, along with an improved, safe and comfortable work environment.
