Location

Kowa Reizo Company, which provides cold-storage warehousing and freight forwarding in its Chubu Distribution Center, Ichinomiya City, recently opened its third building with 9971 square meters of space, increasing total capacity to over 30000 square meters. Center #3 features a state-of-the-art remote monitoring system which keeps track of freezer compartment temperatures and power use in real time. The new facility uses less power because it specified high-performance, LEDioc CEILING HB (low-temperature operable) fixtures, which are designed to operate in -40℃ to +35℃ environments. The fixtures maintain an average brightness of 200ℓx, which is necessary for safety in the work areas below. For the warehouse exterior lighting, LEDioc NEO floodlights and area lights were installed to ensure safety and security. Sustainable Iwasaki LED lighting is rated for 40000 hours of life, and reduces electricity and maintenance expenses.
