YRP Nobi Station is a station on the Keikyu Railway's Kurihama Line in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Although the station name was "Nobi" when it first opened, it was renamed as of April 1, 1998, due to the development of Yokosuka Research Park (YRP) in the neighborhood. The YRP facility is a research and development center for ICT technology focusing on radio and information/communications technology, and there are currently many companies, universities and institutions that are involved in national information and telecommunications research, including NTT, that have launched initiatives there.

The LED high ceiling lighting fixtures used at this station are "LEDioc μs" lights, which are a product that suppresses the "glare" that is also a shortcoming of LED, and in addition to less glare compared to when HID lighting was used, the number of installed units has been significantly reduced from 34 to 20 while achieving increased brightness. This has contributed to reduced power consumption, and created a lighting space that is kind on both the environment and people, and one that has greatly mitigated the discomfort felt by customers due to glare.
