LED lighting in the maintenance hangar for small jets creates a bright and work-friendly visual environment

Fuji Dream Airlines is a regional airline that offers small-jet flight services connecting various areas of Japan from its base of Nagoya, Shizuoka and Komatsu. It operates 12 small jets using a multi-color concept involving different colors for each aircraft, and directly connects local regions via safe and comfortable air travel.

In March 2018 Fuji Dream Airlines carried out a change to LED for the lighting equipment illuminating its hangar at Nagoya Airport, and installed 300W LEDioc HIGH-BAY θ LED high ceiling lighting fixtures in place of the existing HID lighting. Since the upgrade to LED lighting, the hangar has become considerably brighter than before, and positive feedback has indicated that even fine details can be seen clearly when carrying out maintenance work.

Moreover, the previous lights were inconvenient because it would take time for them to be able to be turned on again once they had been turned off, but LED lighting can be turned on/off instantaneously, which makes them more convenient on that point. Light from power-saving LEDs shines brightly in the hangar, achieving a safe and comfortable work environment.
