Situated in Ono City, Hyogo Prefecture, Kobegosei Co., Ltd. is an integrated chemicals manufacturer with an independently developed range of various chemical products centered on coating agents, waxes, cleansing agents (non-inflammable cleansers for brakes and parts) for cars and motorbikes. Supplying its products and services internationally, the company meets the varying needs of its customers as a comprehensive ODM service covering the process from planning through research and development, manufacturing and sales.

As part of its efforts towards energy savings and a reduction of its environmental burden, Kobegosei Co., Ltd. is in the process of switching its lighting to LED, and in January 2022 the lighting at the factory within the head office grounds was updated to LED.

Comprehensively equipped with cutting-edge mechanical equipment such as aerosol filling machinery which demands a high degree of safety, all possible measures are taken to maintain the facility to the highest standards; the same approach has been taken with the lighting, with the selection of luminaires satisfying the regulations and standards as required for use in designated explosion-proof zones. Replacing the existing HID explosion-proof luminaires, the introduction of increased safety explosion-proof LEDioc EX VONO luminaires and LEDioc Explosion-proof LED Tube fixtures has improved light levels whilst also achieving increased efficiency and energy savings, helping to create an even safer working environment.
