Daiwa Lease Co., Ltd., is a leading company in the building lease industry, handling everything from building planning through to design and construction. It is also expanding its business in a wide range of fields including the development and operation of industrial facilities, urban greening, vehicle leasing, construction of self-propelled multi-story car parks, and the emergency provision of temporary housing in times of large-scale disasters. Located in Moka City in Tochigi Prefecture, the Ninomiya Depot & Kanto Factory consists of offices (including those of affiliate companies) and two factory buildings (North and South Building) on a lot with a size of 77618m², with the factory serving as a place for the production of lightweight steel frames and outer-wall panels and a logistics base engaged in administration/storage for the maintenance and reuse of rental-building parts/fittings. The factory underwent a change to LED lighting for the factory premises and the two main factory buildings. A feature of LEDs is their instantaneous illumination, and other benefits that have been delivered include an improved work environment ensuring sufficient brightness, large-scale power savings through energy costs kept in check depending on the length of operating hours, and reductions in maintenance costs and environmental impact.
