In building C, the bright, new 170W LEDioc LED EYE LAMP SP lights create a comfortable environment that controls glare.
Akiyama Seiko Company manufactures component parts from specialty steel for precision machinery and electronic equipment. To reduce power consumption and ensure a safe and productive work environment, Akiyama Seiko decided to retrofit old lighting systems and install new Iwasaki LED lighting fixtures in its Ishioka facility (built in 2013), and its Saitama facility (buildings A & B.) At both locations, 170W LEDioc LED EYE LAMP SP lights were specified. At Saitama, with high ceilings, the light levels from the existing HID lamps had fallen significantly. The LED lighting retrofit delivered impressive energy savings, and the bright white lights eliminated dark areas and shadows throughout the work space. The top part of the ceiling crane had always been in the dark, but the new lights were positioned to assure it was now well lit. Additionally, in an area that requires oil-mist-compliance, custom engineered LEDioc High-Bay Lambda LED high ceiling fixtures with wide angle distribution were installed. 170W LEDioc LED EYE LAMP SP lights were installed in each of the buildings for the seven lines in the Kansai area, and because the interval between the lights going OFF and ON is controlled, increased brightness is achieved as well as power savings.
