Combatting the spread and transmission of Coronavirus COVID-19

Turning to the subject matter at hand – we would hereby like to update you with information on the steps and measures being undertaken by IWASAKI ELECTRIC in combatting the spread and transmission of Coronavirus COVID-19.

Going forward, we shall endeavour to continue safeguarding the safety and wellbeing of all stakeholders by diligently enacting all appropriate measures to prevent contagion, and suppressing any ill effects arising from transmission of the virus – both inside and outside our company.

We appreciate there will be occasions where this may lead to inconveniences for our stakeholders, and we would like to thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.

TRAVEL / BUSINESS TRIPS

• All non-urgent business travel is to be postponed or cancelled.
• Employees are generally prohibited from attending any events, seminars or courses where there will be multiple attendees.

MEETINGS & CONFERENCES

• We will limit movement of staff by refraining from non-urgent meetings; any meetings that do need to take place will be conducted via video conferencing.

INDIVIDUAL MEASURES

• Employees with a high temperature or with any symptoms of illness will be required to remain at home.
