Boulangerie Bonheur, the popular bakery expanding within the Tokyo metropolitan area, opened a store on the first basement level of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, which had its grand opening in Tokyo's Hibiya area in March 2018. Tokyo Midtown Hibiya is a large-scale complex with 35 stories above ground composed of office space, commercial facilities, and business collaboration bases. It features excellent access, being directly connected to Hibiya Station on Tokyo Metro's Chiyoda and Hibiya Lines, and Toei Subway's Mita Line, and the first basement level forms an arcade connected to the station lined with cafes and bars perfect for a casual drop-in. Boulangerie Bonheur is on one of the corners, and is open from 8 AM until 9 PM. The store design takes into account its location in Hibiya, which is a town where adults with knowledge of the authentic congregate, and so care was taken to unify the store interior with relaxed color tones and deliver a sense of elegance and warmth. Instead of an impression of flat and highly uniform light, the lighting plan gives an impression of rich atmosphere with abundant variation from contrast between dark and light, and focused on a balance in brightness between the concourse, shared areas, and store interior. For the main lighting, 75W LEDioc LED EYE LAMP SP-W lights have been used in combination with custom shades painted in the pale blue of the corporate colors, together with warm light in an incandescent hue. Meanwhile, appropriate lighting fixtures have been arranged depending on location, with high-chroma and high-color-rendering LEDioc LED spotlights and incandescent LEDioc LED Universal Downlights used for emphasis lighting, high-chroma and high-color-rendering LEDioc LED Universal Downlights, LEDioc SEAMLESS LINE and shelf lights used for display lighting, and neutral LEDioc MULTILINE lights used for the kitchen, with the priority being on bringing out even more of the beauty of the stars of the show - the freshly baked bread. Bustling with customers day after day since its opening, the store interior is bathed in light with superior color-rendering that creates the effect of a bright and open atmosphere.
