Our high-speed photography lighting systems have evolved in parallel with escalating product development and research demands for more, and improved, data. Iwasaki’s new lighting systems are optimized for use with the latest technology high-speed digitizing cameras; providing unequaled light quality essential for high-resolution color photography.

Overhead Systems

• High output
  2000W Short Arc Metal Halide lamps supply 190,000 initial lumens minimizing the number of fixtures required to provide the specified light distribution pattern.
• Extremely efficient
  Short Arc Metal Halide lamps are five (5) times more efficient (lumens/watt) than halogen lamps and dramatically reduce heat transmission to sled and dummies.
• White light
  5500K color temperature and 92 CRI (Color Rendering Index) simulates natural sunlight delivering optimum light for high speed filming.

Portable Floor Systems

EYE / Iwasaki movable floor lighting systems provide excellent light characteristics for high speed photography. They are simple to operate and their flexibility allows rapid reconfiguration of your lighting layout to address multiple test requirements.

• Tri-pod Systems
  Light weight and modular, these adjustable fixtures can be carried individually for use in confined areas.
• Caster Stand Systems
  Completely self-contained, these system includes a rugged lift mechanism that can support two fixtures. Fixture elevation and angle is easily adjusted. Large casters make this system easy and safe to maneuver even over irregular floors.
• Pit Lighting Systems
  Our most compact self-contained systems. Although designed specifically for pit lighting, these systems can be used in a variety of applications.

On-Board Lighting Systems

Iwasaki ruggedized on-board lighting systems provide excellent light characteristics for high speed photography. The state of the art HID lamp is “instant-on” (less than 5 sec), yet produces more than 4 times the lumen output per watt of Halogen lamps often used on sled applications.,
